WWW, February 2009 - When you write a book about the Dominionists, and you title it "American Fascists", you get the attention of Amy Goodman and her Democracy Now television show as she will interview you for thirty minutes.

Dominionism has a lot of similarities with the times and actions during the rise of Hitler's Nazi regime. The movement, which strives to create a "Christian State" just like Calvin and others did before them, is very strong in the USA and Chris Hedges doesn't like it at all.

In his book "American Fascists", Chris Hedges exposes the movement for what it really is: a philosophy which falsely claims to be "evangelical", but in reality combines religion with the worst aspects of capitalism and a powerful state.

This marriage of Church, State and Commercial is exactly what has been described as the perfect society by a man called Mussolini. Yes, Dominionism is Fascism avant la lettre.
