in this business, as his name has become a
trademark of superbly produced Roots and Dub
material.
From his Head Quarters in the forest of
ancient Fryslan, Johnny Redlocks creates his
riddims in the tradition of Dubroom's own
Sure Dread.
Is it the ancient Frysian land, or is it
the fact that both Johnny Redlocks as well
as Sure Dread are excellent keyboard
players?
Over here in the Dubroom, we are sure it
is a combination of both. Under the Guidance
of the Most High that is, Who blessed these
two HEAVYWEIGHTS in the Online (DUB) Reggae
Artist Community with some crucial talents.
As we spoke with him, he told us about
the pre-Internet days in which he played and
performed Reggae Music with others. Others,
who did not have so much firmly planted
Roots and have left the scene years ago
already.
Johnny Redlocks, however, kept standing
and even more: he kept growing and growing
until he became the HEAVYWEIGHT in Online
Reggae land that he is.
For a HEAVYWEIGHT he is!
When he releases a tune, it is received
more than well by a wide variety of Reggae connoisseurs.
