Jamaica, the UK is also a very important
country when it comes to Reggae Music, both
in history as well as this present day.
Especially when it comes to militant
style and Dubwise, the UK just simply cannot
be ignored. Quite the contrary: it is there,
that standards are set.
Argueably, DUBWISE is much more developed
in the UK then in Jamaica. UK DUB, UK ROOTS,
these are not just styles, they are
trademarks!
With such a name, it is obvious that
there's a lot of producers and artists in
the UK.
One of them is called Demondo.
Demondo has many talents, and he is using
them since the 1970's, when he did work with
Jamaican artists. In the meantime, he has
worked in several studio's, of which Mad
Professor is one.
He has also crossed the globe, helping
out Reggae bands on tour. He played quite a
number of basslines in sessions as well.
It's not all...
He has also released quite a few albums
and maxi singles. DUBWISE is the name of the
game, and Demondo obviously knows the skill.
He learned it years before the Internet was
open for the general public!

all, Demondo has released two albums online,
albums which can be downloaded for free in

The two albums present Demondo's own
particular style of very Ire DUB Music.
Lively, heartical vibes. the dubbing may not
be as massive as that of let's say a Mad
Professor, but they're surely very audible
indeed.
The drum programming is kind of nice, as
it reveals Demondo's ear for detail. The
basslines are cool, laid back at times.
