Around 1978, a new phenomena entered Reggae Culture.
Where the Deejays were rhythmically chanting over drum
and basslines for a long time allready, in the UK
Jamaican poet Linton Kwesie Johnson decided to chant his
potry over heavy DUB rhythms. A new style was born: DUB
POETRY. |
