What is a "direct download link"?

If you click on a direct download link, your computer will start to download the file immediately. Direct Download Links can be found in the MP3 section and on some review pages.

What's the Dubroom?

This site is livicated, rather than deadicated, to serve to online (Dub) Reggae community. We have special services for artists, producers and ofcourse the listeners. Most of it is free.

When was the Dubroom founded?

The Dubroom is online since june 10, 1997.

What can I do here?

The Dubroom has many features. Let me name just the major ones. For a complete overview of everything, CLICK HERE.
First of all, the Dubroom is more or less the one stop for original reggae and dub midifiles. I'm not talking about the 1000th version of a Bob Marley track, but strictly original works.
Also the Dubroom presents 100s of legal mp3 files, you'll find tons of direct download links and links to download pages. These files are not stored on the Dubroom server. But they are all free and legal. Sometimes they are taken from rare and out-of-print vinyl.
There is a growing section with reviews. Some reviews contain also MP3 direct download links and there is an option to buy the reviewed works.
There are many specially selected links in various categories.
There are articles and interviews about dub, reggae and Rastafari/Christianity.
There is also a section called Studio Dubroom in which you can download some samples for your own musical productions and read information about the production of Reggae Music. If you want to buy or sell, you can put a classified advert in the Dubroom Studio as well.
In the "I-fficial Home of Messian Dread" you can read many conscious articles.
To interact and participate, there are a lot of messageboards.
