The Dubroom adds new stuff to the website on an
almost daily basis. We review, research, and
release material that will in one way or another
serve those who are looking for the better (DUB)
Reggae and information that, let's say, adds
footnotes to the message of so many Reggae tunes.
The Dubroom reviews mp3's, podcasts, video's,
books, albums, DVD's and CD's, and more stuff.
Most of the material is free, just like all the
reviews and just like most of the music that is
produced in the Dubroom studio. We also have a net
label that releases music free of charge.
We research as well, and the main topics are
Babylon, Christianity and Rastafari. Often,
readers/visitors will write thoughtful comments on
the Message Boards and the Weblog.
Everything in the Dubroom is done in an independent
basis. We do not have sponsors that dictate what
we should or should not write (about), we decide
for ourselves just what to review and when.
Because we promote (DUB) Reggae, all the music
that is reviewed can be considered
"officially" recommended. Especially
since all of this is done on an independent basis
with strickt quality requirements.
The Dubroom's independence is one reason that
the Website could celebrate it's 10th anniversary
in 2007. The fact that most material we review,
research or release is free of charge is another
one.
The Dubroom is supported by the
visitors/readers, and this support can be many
different things.
