The process was intense, as I had never before
created so much music without actually releasing
it. I am very much dependant of people's feedback
on my music, and for this process I created almost
50 riddims without getting that feedback.
In the same time, I toasted and sung over every
riddim. I realized, that I hadn't been making
music for release with my voice for quite some
years now, and that had to change, obviously.
I wanted to re-do some old compositions of me
but when I started to do that, I found a lot of
resistance in myself emotionally. It was like I
was completely paralyzed, and so I had to break
free from that idea first.
I then started to make riddims, from scratch.
When the riddim was finished, I made a Dub. It
actually took me almost 6 months to finish that
phase.
The next phase was difficult and easy in the
same time, and here is where my experience on
stage came in quite handy. The microphone was
connected, and I simply started to sing or chant
over every riddim. Sometimes, I had to sit down
and write lyrics, and other times the words came
out of my mouth, just like that.
Now I personally have experienced, that this
was all under the guidance of JAH. I equally know
that there are people who do not believe that, but
I truly think that I could never have done this
without JAH actually working in me, someway.
Especially when you realize I did all of this in
no more than 1 1/2 week!
The first results have already been released.
When you're interested in the general vibe of the
music, feel free to download my latest two Net
Albums "Apocalypse Then" and especially
"Reasonings In Dub". I will also release
some other Dubs from the session soon.
My album will have extra dimensions, though. As
soon as it is finished, I will tell you all about
it.
Until then, take care!
